It was a little difficult to actually get into the vest without dislocating my arms. The straps have only one point of attachment in the rear and the lowest one slips off the vest onto your back. There are disclaimers on the vest that say that it will not hold an unconscious person's head above the water. They do run small, my 11 year old could barely fit it around him and he only weighs 120 pounds. I was able to fit into one, but did have to adjust the straps almost to the ends and I'm not that big, at 5'6" and 140 pounds you'd think an regular adult size would have more room. It is good for my size (120lbs) but i find it too small for my husband (170lbs),although he can still wear it. The vest keeps going up that you need to keep pulling it down so you are more comfortable specially when rowing, but it serves as neck support when you just want to relax on your boat. We've used it several times now and still looks as new. I would still recommend it, you can't get anything better for the price. |
